How to unlock the SLVR GSM Cingular?
Is there a code or anything that can unlock? I do not want to spend money to do well. I've heard that people there would have to call Cingular service provider in this case and ask the code, Has anyone done this?
Your best bet is to call Cingular customer. If a prepaid phone is the only downside is you need to keep the account open for 90 days. If postpaid (where has a contract / invoice monthly) you need to have satisfied the contract. The unlock code is determined by its IMEI (phone serial #) to you will not be the same as someone who opened it. You can get unlocking software for ebay, etc. but if you want to do it for free, Cingular does not charge.
