Hard Drive Camcorder
"I can make a DVD directly from my hard drive video camera without having to download all 80 GB of data on my computer?
My problem is I do not want to store 80GB of data on my computer on my hard drive video camera. I have to buy a separate computer just for my video camera! I connect my camcorder to my computer and then simply act as the camcorder is an external hard drive. Is this possible? This is similar to what I do with my digital camera. For example, whenever you print photos, I did not download to my computer I do not see with your computer and then print. No loading necessary safeguard.
Yes the camera is treated as an external hard drive – at least Sony camcorder to my HDD. There is no need to transfer a video to your computer to burn a DVD.
