Would a crimped pont tail look good with my school girl costume?

so im gunna be a school girl for haloween and my hair is about shoulder length with sum of it shorter, like to my chin, i recently wore it straight to a party but ifelt so plain. i tried crimping but the sides are too short and stick out. i then put my crimped hair in a ponytail and it looked really good. would that look good with my schoolgirl outfit? thnaks a bunch :)

i think it would look fine .
