xbox 360 warranty question?
ok so i got my xbox 360 about 20 days ago, and this friday, my sister knocked it over while i was playing halo odst. now that disk has scratches around the edges and cant be read
however, the bonus halo 3 multiplayer disk that comes with odst can be read, so the console isnt broken heres my questions
1 – is there some sort of 30 day standard warranty on 360s?
2 – do u think the cd was scratched because it got bounced around when it fell or when it fell, something in the 360 was knocked out of place and scratched the cd?
3 – would it be worth sending in the console for repairs to prevent scratching other cds and how much would that cost?

1- there will be the stores warranty and also it covered by microsoft for one year, and three years for rrod
2- you cant move xboxes when the y are running caus they do scratch discs, there should be no problem with your xbox
3- theres not much you can do apart from put the console in a safe place, and save the game to your hardrive so the disc does not spin whilst the console is running
